The demand for electricity is rapidly growing and renewable energy sources such as solar, wind tidal can compensate the to a substantial level. Among these, solar abundant, scalable cheaper. generated be used in an efficient way if DC output directly supplied load instead of converting it AC. Every electrical system capable operating and, example, Light Emitting Diode (LED) lights have become popular they provides more lumens with less power consumption also operated from DC. LED lighting large commercial buildings has irradiance levels which vary sigificantly during operation. Extracting maximum maintaining constant voltage at different loads another challenge. This paper proposes Photo Voltaic (PV)-based including Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) supplying lamps building through modified high gain Luo converter. Perturb Observe control algorithm been extraction PV cell whereas PI (Proportional Integral) controllers maintain PV–BESS against levels. To supply desired voltages system, converter designed. make currents, Sliding Mode Controllers (SMC) are designed help state-space average model. It found that sliding mode controller outperforms terms behavior transient period tracking capability. simulated using MATLAB/Simulink®. Controller 95% 75% faster capability when compared other controllers. could incorporated source obtain green energy.
